adhocracy+ has introduced new features

The newest update of adhocracy+, Release v.2406.3, includes several exciting new features and improvements to our participation platform.

Insights

The new Insights functionality gives initiators more data, allowing them to monitor and evaluate their participation projects. Under Basic Settings > Results, the number of active participants, total comments, and ratings are displayed. Furthermore, initiators can also publicly display these Insights in the Results tab.

More Registration Options

Alongside Google and Github, adhocracy+ now allows accounts to be authenticated with an Apple-ID and Facebook.

Help

Users can now easily access our Wiki for instructions and explanations via the “Help” button in the User-Menu.

New Text Editor

The CKEditor has been updated: It is now possible to set alternative texts for all uploaded pictures. To do so, upload an image in the CKEditor and then select the ALT option to enter an alternative text. Additionally, documents such as Word or PDF files can now be uploaded for later download by users.

Navigation Optimizations and Mobile View Improvements

Fixed anchor points now prevent the user’s view from jumping back to the top of the page when navigating the timeline, or when selecting a new filtering or sorting option. Furthermore, the mobile view of the platform has been improved by redesigned elements and bug fixes.

Delete Account

The process of deleting a user account has been simplified. Previously, users had to send an email to support to permanently delete their account. Now, users can delete their account and all associated data themselves. In the user account settings, there is now a “delete account” option. After verifying the action with their password, all data is permanently removed. The deletion is confirmed via email.
